Hostgator isn’t our favorite website hosting company. It is one of the largest web host out there though. We noticed an increase in down websites today. Downdector is showing a large outage on their network. It’s not the first time and won’t be the last time. This is why if your on Hostgator it might be time to contact a web company and find out who they recommend for website hosting.
This is also a good reminder that your website needs to be backed up daily. Clients on our maintenance plans have nightly backups and we could help move their website if a large network outage like this happens.
