Our Task: Design and develop a new website for Columbia River Mental Health Services with accessibility best practices in mind, and allow a way for CRMHS to collect donations, and showcase their fundraising events.
The site was a re-build based on former and new content provided by CRMHS. The website was designed to showcase offered services as well as providing a way to reach out. The site was built with accessibility front-of-mind through all stages of the design and build.
The colors were chosen to match the logo of CRMHS, and meet accessibility guidelines for contrast. The headings on each page are structured in a way that is semantically optimized for screen readers.
We included the ability to translate the website to Russian and Spanish in order to meet the needs of the community CRMHS serves.
The website was integrated with the donation management platform qgiv in order for the client to receive donations on their website.
